i love good customer service. and even more i love watching good customers recieve that good customer service. its a big one for me. its one of the reasons i love the grocery store raleys. today i was having sushi for lunch (me and ole' JC) and there was this lady next to me and she was the best customer. you could tell she was a regular but she was so thankful for everything. every piece of sushi she got she thanked the chef and told him how great it was. it made me think that people have to work. be thankful of their talents! some people can fix computers, some can serve food with a smile, some are grocery clerks can check really speedy, or others check slower but are efficient. remember that God not only put you in your job but also put others in their jobs! be thankful that they are there. let them know that you are thankful and show them the same christmas spirit as you show people you work with and people that you go to church with, or live with! love you all!! and i love christmas!!! :)

I'm' reading Don Miller's book To Own A Dragon and he talks about this thing of work....It's true....It doesn't matter what it is, but to do whatever it is with joy....a key to life, I say!
me too debi. i love to be one of those that offers wonderful customer service although these days my customers aren't so picky warm food and clean pants are all they require :)
also a quote to add to my sisters "to be happy don't do whatever you like, like whatever you do!!"
isn't that a good one?
Thanks guys! its soooo true! God has been working a lot in me, and thats one of the things He keeps telling me. 'Just Do' and like what you do. and trust that God is leading you.
Hmmm... You know what I like even more than good customer service? Good customers! You mentioned them, but I really appreciate the customers who are cheerful and easygoing from the get-go rather than the surly and demanding types.
Good reminder, Debi, thanks. These "good workers" are becoming few and far between, so when I get one, I shower them with gratitude.
I think a key to doing a job well is to not hold back & see it as "only a job"- instead, I do what I do as I'd do it for Jesus. Reminds me of talking with Francisco (from church) & asking how he was able to live in the giving, self-sacrificing & serving manner that he does - he said, "It is unto the Lord."
It means giving myself totally to what i do, whatever it is, because its for Him.
i've been a bus-boy, a waiter, and a car wash guy. 'tis true what you say about being a good customer
